We are a respectable paper, where anyone can publish. We are definitely sinking lower though. We here at the Daily Basement do not know how to swim. Our floaty chair and floaties were also stolen so we have no way of staying afloat. We do not actually sell ads. We were unaware that people would sell adspace. That is absurd. Ads are wonderful things. We love ads and believe everyone should enjoy them. Getting money to share the joy of advertisements? That's unconscionable. We at the Daily Basement would never get paid. That would basically be like joining a union and - THE REST OF THIS PUBLICATION DEEMED UNSAFE BY THE MINISTRY OF TRUTH.
