While Shoomimi has been fighting in multiple tournaments the Basement has been fighting off a plague of bears. The bear problem has no end in sight. The bears just won't stop mauling. The current theory among basement Scientists is that Shoomimi was a bear deterrent. That since she has been busy this has allowed the bears a way into the ecosystem.
